Commercial Director
Cris Hiche joined the company in 2019 and has since been responsible for managing high value engineering projects in the aerospace and motorsport industries. He oversaw a team of stress engineers in the design and manufacture of main structural components for a variety of vehicles. Prior to joining MGI Engineering, Cris designed MRIs for the global market leader in the sector. Before his time at Siemens Healthineers, he worked as a stress engineer in Formula 1. During his F1 career, Cris completed the Accelerated Development Programme at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Chief Engineer
John studied Aeronautical Engineering and started his career in the Stress Office. Over three decades, John’s portfolio has covered multiple capabilities in aerospace and automotive product development. Through his consultancy business, he worked with several blue-chip clients including GKN, Ford, Fokker, Daimler Chrysler, Cobham, GSK, and Lockheed.
Head of Systems Integration
James has developed specialist knowledge in the areas of composite design and systems integration throughout his career in Formula 1 and motorsport. His roles have included being a Senior Design Engineer and during his career he has worked with teams such as Williams F1, Marussia F1 and Scuderia Toro Rosso.
Head of Calculation
Chris has an extensive career in advanced stress engineering. He has acquired a broad level of expert knowledge in motorsport, defence and aerospace industries. As a Formula 1 stress engineer for five years, he worked on international vehicle platform programmes and has a wide skillset ranging from advancing very low volume composites to high-volume metallic structures.
Head of Composite Design
Andy has developed specialist knowledge in composite design from his impressive 25-year career portfolio. He was Wind Tunnel Model and Surfacing Designer for McLaren F1, and has worked for G Force Technologies, McLaren Cars, Super Aguri F1, Honda Racing F1, before becoming Senior Composite Designer for Williams F1.
Head of Mechanical Design
Sean has a wealth of experience in mechanical design and has developed valuable skills through senior roles in both the Formula 1 and the defence industry. He started in F1 at Tyrrell, worked for McLaren and Toyota F1, and has 10 years experience in the defence industry.
