MGI Engineering has announced the latest addition to its autonomous defence portfolio with the introduction of the MGI T-022 Vortex, a high-speed Autonomous Collaborative Combat Aircraft (ACCA) designed to support the future needs of modern air forces.
Developed using MGI’s rapid engineering and motorsport-inspired development methodologies, Vortex has been conceived as an attritable platform capable of operating alongside crewed aircraft and other autonomous systems in highly contested environments. The aircraft has been designed to combine high performance with scalable manufacture, supporting defence programmes that require capability at pace.
The announcement reflects MGI Engineering’s continued investment in autonomous collaborative platforms and its focus on delivering innovative solutions for defence customers both in the UK and internationally.
