Mike Gascoyne’s F1 career spans multiple teams, including McLaren, Sauber, Tyrrell, Jordan, Renault, Toyota, and Caterham. Lotus Racing
In 2009 Mike Gascoyne and MGI founded and set up the Lotus Racing Team. In under six months MGI set up to complete F1 team and designed the teams 2010 challenger, making MGI one of the few companies in the world able to say it has set up a F1 team successfully from scratch. The Lotus Racing F1 team was subsequently rebranded as Caterham F1.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
MGI proudly spent four years developing critical systems and components for the then nascent eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) industry. Partnering with a world-leading company, we successfully designed, prototyped, and contributed to the flight testing of the aircraft, positioning the UK at the forefront of this emerging sector. Our innovative F1 expertise earned us a patent and accelerated the path to aircraft certification.
